About Me

I am a trained social worker and wellness coaching and counselling.  I received my Social Work Diploma at Red Deer College in 2006 where I practiced as a registered social worker.  At this time I co-founded and facilitated the first ever LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered) agency in central Alberta. In 2009, I received my Bachelors of Social Work at  Nicole Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT) in Merritt as a social worker.  This program focused on Indigenous content and anti-oppressive practice.  In 2011, I received my  Professional Counsellor Diploma and trained in an experiential form of wellness counselling and coaching.  In the summer of 2015, I received my Masters of Education degree.  My thesis focused on my Queer Genogram model.

For the last 11 years, I have been passionately working on issues relating to sexuality and gender. I believe These issues affect everyone and their lives either indirectly or directly.  Especially in Western culture, many of us have been taught to be ashamed of who we are and the sexuality that we hold in our lives.  It has become my direction to assist others to release these shames and fear, so we can truly love our selves and live authentic lives.

Mission Statement
Vision Statement

To be a primary support for those looking to find and embrace the self, and then become successful in all areas of life. This means supporting individuals, couples, families, communities, and organizations through research, education, consultation, counselling and coaching to create safe spaces, understanding, and tools for change. This shall be done through openness, advocacy, a holistic perspective and a motivation for healthier lives.

To create space and build capacity for individuals and society, so we can truly embrace the self. This means to truly live an authentic life, love one’s self and to live the life we are meant to live. To allow individuals to find their truth and the ability to find the strength to make their own changes from their greatest source: themselves.
