Poly 101: creating Understanding of Ethical Non-Monogamy for Professionals
Today the types of relationships are growing fast and can be a bit confusing individuals who are providing support. One such group are individuals who are choosing Non-monogamy as a way to have both sexual and romantic relationships.
This workshop will assist Professionals and community members gain an understanding of what it means to have a non-monogamous relationship, why individuals are choosing to have them, and what does it mean to have a healthy or ethical non-monogamous relationship. Information will be provided through a combination of workshop style and a panel of non-monogamous individuals who have chosen to share there story.

Sexual and Gender Diversity Competency Training
​
This Introductory Training for Non-Profits is designed to provide you and your organization with the tools, knowledge and awareness to assist in helping you build self-awareness, knowledge, and tools that you need. The training will include a mix of educational modalities, including experiential activities and group discussions, to maximize a diverse learning styles.
You will learn:
- Gender, Sexual and Two-Spirit Diversity Basics
- Understand how and what appropriate language to use
- Statistics and better understanding of the experiences of Sexual and Gender Diverse persons.
- Tools to be an ally as a member of the larger community and as a professional
- The basic understanding and tools to create an inclusive/ welcoming space and other materials (Policies, website, & social media)
Please note: The Competency training is divided into two parts. 1) Sexual and Gender Diversity Basics, and 2) Assessment for ally ship as individuals and as organizations. The second part is optional but you will need the first part to attend the 2nd and I do recommend attending the 2nd half as it completes the training and provides solid pieces for you and your organization to build the capacity you are desiring.
Who: Anyone who works for a non-profit or the city in some capacity.

Sexual and Gender Diversity Training for Professionals
There is a growing population of people who do not identify with sexual, romantic and gender diversity. This course advances a professional's capacity to support and empower sexual, romantic and gender diverse persons through an in-depth and holistic look at their lives.
Research, theories, and voices from the trans persons experience informing the health professional of the challenges of the gender diverse communities. The course is designed to build on your own self awareness and develop the skills to support and empower persons of any sexual, romantic or gender orientation in an inclusive professional practice.

Queering Genograms for Helping Professionals
Recently more and more organizations and professional individuals have acknowledged the importants of including Sexual, Romantic and Gender Diverse persons into our understanding of inclusive practice.
However, the tools we use remain hetero- and cis-normative. This Training will provide a brief understanding of sexual, romantic and Gender diversity, an understanding of the Queer Genogram model and an opportunity to learn how to use this model through the creation of your own genogram.
